This Archive page presents O’Mahony’s collaborative works and two major environmental community projects, staged over many months involving the protection of a river inland forest and the promotion of awareness for clean water, clean air and clean soil. River Runner is a full-length documentary film that is free to watch on Youtube. The reaction to the film led to a long-standing campaign and is documented in detail on www.riverrunner.ie. This campaign led to www.sourcetosea.ie which was a continuation project engaging communities the length and breadth of a 93-kilometre river basin in southern Ireland, the Lee River. Multiple artists contributed their work as part of this biodiversity crises awareness project.

NEW BEGINNING: The New Beginning project is unique as it is the very first professional recording and production of original songs and related stories by Declan O’Mahony. This high-quality book and CD was conceived and crafted during 2020 and 2021. The song themes range from Brehon law to Pathological Demand Avoidance, corporate environmental scandals and institutional abuse. To quote one critical writer: 'Your outrage at the wide swath of injustices exposed in the lyrics of NB and the essential decency and dignity of the victims shine through a colourful and diverse mixture of accompaniments'. NB was a collaborative effort and its high-quality finish offers a top-class collector’s item made during the cultural void of the pandemic. This limited and signed edition book (100 copies only) can be purchased directly from this site.
